My partner & I stayed here for 1 night as it was my birthday. When we arrived we checked in & went straight to our room. Upon entering we discovered that the hotel staff had decorated the room, wrote a birthday card for me & left some lovely treats! This was unexpected, thoughtful & a lovely surprise. It really was appreciated & set the tone for a fabulous birthday in Lytham. The room itself was a good size & had a kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, biscuits etc. There were also bottles of water, an ironing board, iron, hairdryer & fan. The bed was comfy & a good size. We both had a great night's sleep & even though our room overlooked a road, we heard no noise at all. I am a light sleeper but we were also not disturbed by any of the usual hotel noise/other guests etc that often occur. Sure, the room & the bathroom were a little tired & would benefit from being updated, but it would not put us off staying there again. The shower was powerful & there were a selection of toiletries to use. The breakfast the next morning was lovely & was included in the room rate. There were plenty of choices on the menu to suit all tastes. The Queen Hotel's location is central to all that Lytham has to offer & is a great venue. The staff are warm & friendly. We had a drink there before we walked into the main area of Lytham. We always tend to call in here for a drink when we are visiting Lytham for the day, because it is usually bustling with people & has a great vibe. The outside area is also a lovely space & is a sun trap when the sun comes out. It is also great for people watching! All in all the hotel room rate was very reasonable for everything that was included & we will 100% be back!

The staff were brilliant, none of them could have been more helpful. From check-in to check-out, they were all happy, attentive and informed. They also read the notes on our reservation and noticed that we were visiting for our anniversary and sent over a couple of complimentary glasses of prosecco - much appreciated, thank-you! The food was exceptional - far better than I could have reasonably expected and incredible value for money

Breakfast was very good, though I noticed a different menu for non residents, but it was well presented & very tasty, there wasn’t any muesli as mentioned on the menu, but all very enjoyable with excellent service, so thank you 🤩. The bedroom was very warm & cosy, though small, which was expected for a single room. Great location overlooking the lovely Lytham green.

It was a 10 minute walk to the Lowther Pavilion which is why we chose this hotel as we had a show in the evening. A 5 minute walk to plenty of other restaurants and shops. The room was cosy but would have benefitted from having two chairs not jut one by the dressing table. Breakfast was very good and the staff were excellent.

Peter

The staff more than anything, every single one of them bar none were just brilliant especially Steven/Stephen? & Josh. The beds were and pillows are so comfortable, slept so well while there. The Wednesday quiz was so good, loved it. The food especially breakfast just blew us away, 1st class 🤗
